STR's are a different beast entirely, whether professionally managed or not, but they do allow for an easier/quicker exit than traditional commercial such as retail, office, warehouse, or multi-family.

@Andrea M.Im currently doing a full gut remodel and have been lucky with contractors, they are referrals from real estate networking and from people I have worked with for a long time.

The biggest thing that stuck out to me was that they get deals by making relationships, getting to know owners, networking, finding out the stories behind everything, etc.

It was a very bad experience for me that could have been easily avoided if they had any professionalism and commitment to doing what they advertise they do.
