As a data point, Entergy reported that Ida resulted in more damage to poles than Katrina, Ike, Delta and Zeta combined . . . . more than 30,000 poles were damaged in Ida.Considering how severe the storm was, power is being restored very quickly and with limited flooding in New Orleans, the city should be coming back to some sense of normalcy in time to support the convention . . . . . but the Bigger Pockets team will be monitoring the situation and keeping us up to speed as conditions evolve.

Mathematically with compound returns in time they will beat real estate even without leverage or cherry picking. 

If you knew that and could go back in time that might be a decision to rethink. 

I'm pleasantly surprised how spacious and nice of a space a garage can be turned into.
