DSCR for these sort of loans right now is 25% down, 30-year amortization, with a rate around 7%, depending on the lender and deal.

MF houses provide improved cash flow, economies of scale, and faster portfolio development, but they may not appreciate as quickly.

I just depends on the lender as to if they will allow it.

I think it is a great idea, steady tenants and a great REI if you are willing and able to take care of it (of course you can have a property management company, depending on what you want to do).
