I am a Commercial Real Estate appraiser & am currently appraising a 48,000 SF industrial complex (four 12,000 SF metal buildings) in Adelanto, CA in the High Desert of the Victor Valley.My building and two others are In Escrow at HUGE price increases over what these buildings were selling for Pre-MJ Ordinance by the city.

I have always wanted to do flips to get a foothold of some investment money, then i would like to branch to rentals and owning complexes and houses.

Our company acquires Multi Family complexes in the U.S.  

The complex needs to be large enough to support on-site staff or most money people won't buy in to the project. 

I am wondering if Better.com will work well for investors, given that we often times have a complex financial situation with many accounts and large transactions. 

The process of renting here is more complex than buying elsewhere.  

Putting the insurance issue aside, a disabled owner could easily sue over such a requirement and take the whole complex down.
