I have some ideas on how to increase cash flow including framing in the open end of the barn as self storage: 

I already have the kitchen in storage.

Additionally, there is an unpermitted small storage addition for lawn mowers and stuff on the side of the home (approx 5ft wide by 2feet deep) that was built using identical materials of the property so it blends in and looks of professional quality.

I have previously owned commercial office properties and 2 self storage properties.

We had to pay so much to the Leaking Underground Storage Fund.  

@Laura CappsSounds like you are embarking on a great journey :)For my bigger projects multi-familys, trailer parks and storage unit facilities are my favorites.

Also has online storage and ability do have docs signed electronically.  

The house is huge with great storage and some what updated kitchens.

House details: 3 bed, 1 bath (room for a half), living room, kitchen, dining area, detached garage with attached storage shed, .23 acres, and on a concrete foundation with a 2.5ft crawlspace.
