Another good one is Firstrust Bank, I am about to start working with them, they are one of the few lenders I have found willing to do lines of credit on residential investment properties.However, if you are purely trying to house hack and will be living in one of the units, you can get a conventional mortgage which is much easier.

I deal with plans -pure black and white- with specifications if necessary, either that or labor only contracts where change orders are on time & materials at 70/hr, that way I avoid the Can you's.

This then allowed me to buy apartment buildings, which have been much better pure investments than most house hacks in my area here in Chicago.

In the end, I feel like this is purely speculation.  

Are you thinking you will eventually turn this into a pure investment property and hold long term?

Can Pure PRINCIPAL ONLY payments (were you are not paying any interest) he deductible and / or used as an expense to offset other income earned.

If you hope for large capital gains, it’s pure speculation.Foreigners buy in Montenegro because it’s cheaper than Croatia.
