Even vacant lots are starting to be swept up pretty quickly here, some of which seem incredibly overpriced.

I want to be firm, but still be as smart as possible about my approach to this kind of situation.

I actually did get an investor lead who approached me and was happy to see that I have CIAS.

Same resolution approach, posted on their facebook wall and someone in Oklahoma called me and expressed that it was somehow an "honest mistake" and took care of it.

Like many things, a balanced approach will help you learn and determine what works best for you and also be a better judge of what's worth your time (and possibly $) and what isn't .Just be mindful of what you invest in educationally.

I overlooked a ton of oppourtnity much closer to home when I chose to be a long distance investor and at the time it was a foolish approach.

But developing a relationship with a smaller bank is definitely the approach to take.Hope that helps,- Tom
