This is a combination of the all time worst rent to purchase cost ratio and interest rates that are near the high for this century.   

I use REI Hub where all my accounts are connected and I categorize income, expenses etc.

That being said, most originators are hit with a clawback penalty if you payoff your loan within 6-9 months, meaning that the originator has to repay all commissions and fees to the buyer of the loan if you payoff the loan within that period.

I have saved up 10k and plan to keep saving but I was wondering if there are ways that anyone has used this amount of money to get started in real estate?
