Ned Carey are you referring to a 50% rule listed somewhere on this forum or the BP website, or is this something that is specific to Baltimore?

I am sure most of you are aware of the method I am referring to.

Just as a point of reference supporting your point: In SF a 'quick estimate' for a kitchen or bath remodel is 30k for basic finishes and appliances, or 50k for what you'll probably end up having to put in.
