Personally, I have no issues making the full monthly payments from the start, so it seems unnecessary to pay the buydown payment just to have lower payments in the first two years.Additionally, my lender said that if I refinance before the 2-year period is over, the remaining buydown payment would be applied to the principal.

Did you feel like living directly across the street from the school was a benefit to the renters or did the traffic make it a potential minor deterrent?

It seems to good to be true and I dont want to give my personal info to just anyone until I can at least verify it. 

I also have general liability insurance, a personal umbrella (which I don’t think will cover me as I may need a commercial umbrella).
