I think the OP was just trying to illustrate this exact point that @Aaron Rowzee is making.You got to know yourself and be able to objectively gauge your own strengths and weaknesses.

Since your objective is to find a deal in the summer I recommend you start attending Real Estate Networking Events and meeting like-minded people. 

I didnt set my laser focus at the beginning; instead, I had a shining object syndrome.

Cons- People object to the short sets of stairs everywhere which chews up alot of square footage unless the house is extremely large,,and then it still does.Problems were that every level isnt doored at all so that heating and cooling was a bit problematic.

Why would you want to be put in a scenario where you have to overcome an objection to your countertops when re-selling?!
