The market will drop obviously at some point in time but it will not be like post 2008 where prices dipped super low.

Hopefully the research I did will encourage them to write a rebuild letter, but if they only write that the house and cottage could be rebuilt but not the basement apartments, is there any way to get it appraised not considering them as additional dwellings or does it really have to be whatever that point in time looks?

Although not exclusively the case, the investors in private equity funds typically consist of public and private pensions, so the beneficiaries of these investments are teachers, police, firefighters, etc.Mike, thanks for injecting a lot of sense into this thread that could have easily derailed into something less pleasant.

Yes, but it depends on the decision made by those who elect one option over the other for varying reasons and purposes suitable to their personal, intimate, and selfish predilections.

Finding good deals, getting financing, estimating values, estimating rehab costs, getting rehab done and done in time, being a landlord, etc.
