You have no rights as a tenant to make any assessment on the value of your contribution and any portion of non payment can result in an eviction. What you do have is the right to stop doing the maintenance or apply through your state landlord/tenant dispute system for a rent rebate. You will need to read your state landlord tenant regulations to find out exactly what your rights are and how to claim as every state has different regulations.Rather than do that I advise tenants that are not happy to move.
