Those "C" and "D" condos that everyone is finding deals on will be much less desirable when that happens.

After reading the UBG I instantly felt ready to dive into specifics and that my goals of becoming a successful investor were not only possible, but very much so achievable when you combine pure hard work, a desire to continually learn, and the ability to save some cash!

While it may not have the upper income demographics of the prominent northern suburbs, it also isn't South Dallas, South Oak Cliff, or Pleasant Grove in terms of crime, safety, or desirability.

However, when you look more closely at the underlying problem of affordability in California, you have to wonder why homebuilders are not rushing to make a buck and fill the huge demand for affordable living - they obviously see a rocky economy ahead and have no desire to be caught out like they were when the credit bubble burst.

Sounds like I'll have to rely on either their desire to stay in the house or the FC (or DIL etc) proceeds.  

My daughter is very intelligent and has a burning desire to move into this type of business and I am blown away with the time and effort she has invested and the amount of information she has already learned.

With that being said, I wouldn't count a condo out if it cash flows and gets your desired CoC return.  

You carry out what the home desires.  

As a real estate practitioner in the Colorado Springs market for a better part of the last 15 years, I can recite the obvious...School District 20 has an excellent reputation overall, the north and southeast quadrants are some of the fastest growing and the southwest is largely quite desirable.
