If you aren't happy with your agents timeliness/negotiating skills… Keep searching until you find one that is a good fit 

My hubby and I own an organizing business and love what we do; however, we're looking for more...something that can utilize all of our skills (my hubby has an extensive background in construction) and is lucrative.  

Although when done well, it can be a lot if fun and be profitable, it's not as easy as many people think and requires lots of attention to detail, accounting skills, knowledge of applicable rules and regulations, deal analysis, and at some point the ability to protect your money loaned when someone's dream all of a sudden becomes a nightmare for both parties.

If you're very good and build your skills, work hard, communicate honestly, and bring value to people - you'll be off to a great start.

If on the other hand your contact includes vital information about the market, or financing or anything that either educates the possible client in being better prepared for the process then you can follow up more frequently.  

I thank you for reaching out with this vital information as I am sure your logic is sound.

Some plumbers do not know how to properly work on these systems, so it is vital to get the right guy in there.  

While everyone is working their butt off, some are more skilled at this than others; posses better judgment, have been doing it longer, and have deeper connections.

I hope i can become self-employed starting with gathering the relevant knowledge and skills to sign my first deal.
