@Luke Tetreault, it sounds like your local credit unions don't have much commercial sized multifamily experience, or are very conservative.  

It sounds cheesy, but the best way to prepare is to work with a friend or two and role-play.

Doesn't sound like you find it a drag nor have anything else that you need to be doing.Maybe my ignorance, but not sure what you mean by "...to streamlined expenses going out."
