@Mark Freeman   Guru is only at the 3 or 4 day events.. all other events are set ups and up sells.or some have in depth 3 day seminars  depends on the outfit.remember these are going on simultaneously  throughout the country.. with the goal to funnel 300 to 400 people to one event in LA or TX... at least ARmando's deals.this I why James and his crew going to the event in Cleveland is a waste of time. and they will see that and probably leave before the speaker gets done showing slides of his family on their vacation and kids that may or may not be there's etc etc.

The estimate did include:Exterior:- New trim around windows- Repair of one window (glass was cracked, looked like a baseball strike)- Deck repair (there are two decks, one off the master suite and one larger deck off the dining room.... both need minimum of power wash and paint)- ~$1,500 in lawn care, shrub trimming, tree trimming (it was pretty bad but would look amazing with some care) (this was my estimate outside of the GC estimate)Interior:- ~$3,500 for demo (my GC actually thought $6k but hires it out to 1-800-Got-Junk and recommended that I could find a less expensive option.

End result was the same - they start feeling comfortable and either dont show up anymore or start increasing their quotes to no end knowing i have "so many houses". in the past i have paid guys more per hour than i have paid my lawyer and i was bothered by the fact that they thought that quoting $200 per hour is going to fly.so, what's a fair pay per hour for kitchens, baths, light framing, doors and windows, etc?
