Just wanted to chime in real quick because we considered investing in that area a few years ago.Today I look at the existing cabins, and a lot of them look fantastic.

Written by attorney investors, it's full of practical advice pertaining to management of investment property, has sample forms that can be edited, and - most importantly - they tell you what your primary state laws are and where you can read them.

I was served a certified letter by one of the six tenants at a student rental house stating my lease was void because of violating  Wis.

He painted walls and replaced all the furniture in the house, and laid gravel around the yard, adding a fence, fire pit, and hot tub.

However my intention was not to just go buy a house at auction.. 🤣….

I am wondering if it makes more sense to just deal with the large upfront cost to have the roof done fully or if repairing the damage will end up coming back to haunt me.It's a rather small house at just over 600sqft, for an addition is it really just a matter of getting estimates for the addition and comparing that to the additional rent I would get and seeing if it's worth it?

I'm seeking your insights on purchasing an investment property (focusing on equity growth and self-sustainability) near Wake Tech - Southern Wake Campus and the McCullers area.

I would consider taking over a turnkey property there but wouldn't advise investing in a conversion unless you're going super luxury or simply want to enjoy the area yourself frequently.
