I just received a long letter from my tenant detailing multiple health issues she is experiencing that are clearly linked to second hand smoke coming from the unit below.  

I really don't get how the city can not step in and remove the people-not because they are squatters, but because some of those houses are clearly not habitable and they are created a health hazard with all of the needles and stuff in the yard.

I understand the scaling-up dilemma. 

I have a friend who is going to be selling his house soon, talking to him he is willing to allow me to assume his loan and pay the difference in the appreciation that he’s experienced in the last couple years.Here’s my dilemma, I would be buying it as a rental property, but it feels like the only upside to the deal would be the 2.5% of the assumed loan interest rate as I would be putting around 20% down.

Coincidently, he made his girlfriend and two young girls very happy.It sounds like you live in a beautiful area, so I understand the dilemma your girlfriend has with moving.

A day later she replies with a huge message lecturing me on why it's none of her problem if I can get a new tenant, about how the rent is too high and how she can't work because of her asthma and her mom's health problems lately, about how she appreciates me but that she needs to know that "this process is going to go smoothly."

By working hard and applying the principles discussed one can find long-term financial health and considerably change the trajectory of their life.

Because now since I have health issues I'm definitely filing a lawsuit.

Still health though!

Apparently, it was pulled down because the owner was dealing with health issues.
