I am less familiar with Schuylkill Haven and Tamaqua but I think they are good cash flow areas as well.Like with any rental, tenant screening is crucial in this area because opioids and other drugs have hit the area hard. 2019 has been my first year without an eviction so it has been a learning process.

On the other hand, getting all the infrastructure in place to be able to individually bill the tenants can be expensive, if possible.I might take property B and then start charging a flat fee for utilities and over time up that flat fee.By the way, when you say property B is at market rents do you mean rent minus the utilities the owner pays is market rent?

At 17 and with $290, I would start planning and doing a few things: I would stick with learning as much as I could here on BP for free, maybe joining some local RE groups and get to those meetings where I could mingle with them and get known, being 17 you have youth as both an advantage and as a DISADVANTAGE till people get to know and know you as a dependable dedicated man on paper and screen till you have successes under your belt you may be looked more as a liability as you are 17 so you must prove your worth more.
