The newer more renovated houses will continue to rise but I feel at some point mine will appear as an old dated house that somebody looks at and will want as a cheaper place to fix up and renovate.Other than this, I don't really enjoy the out-of-state investor aspect of relying on a property manager when this was always a hands on investment for me until I moved away.

If unclaimed after a certain amount of time, I can auction the storage unit off, apply the funds to the deceased person's account, and then turn the rest over to the state as unclaimed.There's much more to this.

You can also get a lower rate on a 30 year fixed and even though its a 30 year loan there is No prepayment penalty so you can pay as much as you want but not obligated to pay more.A Heloc is a credit risk and can "never" be used as an asset or PITI reserve which is required when buying additional properties.

I checked with one of the lenders recommended in the lender finder but I don't qualify due to the amount of the HELOC not reaching the minimum pull out amount of $50K.
