But I’ve picked up a few things along the way so far and started to build up a list of criteria that has helped me start to narrow my focus. 1) property tax - I’ve found that people don’t talk about property tax much because they are just used to whatever rate and assessment schedule exists where they live and don’t know any different.

Assessor wants to re-assess for any little thing I guess.What about refinancing or getting a Heloc if the  condition won't make it through a full appraisal? 

A hard money lender will lend based on the assessment of the deal itself and adhere to limited borrower requirements.

I dont know properties get re assessed all the time very common in say Texas you see folks protesting those taxs all the time. 

Attend if there is, and tell the judge you need an inspection before/upon move out to assess damages.2.

I think pausing and taking a moment to assess our goals would be really powerful for us.
