Oftentimes, most customers fail to understand the complexities of agency law and assume that when they contact an agent for help, the agent is their agent.If a real estate agent takes on responsibilities that are normally those of an agent but hasn't signed an agency agreement, he still may be considered an agent via implied agency.

I did ask DWP several times as well as the building and  safety inspection department to keep the 2 separate drops as it is right now, but they refused and said we have to have one drop for the whole complex so that all the meters are in one location.  

One unit has been on the market 31 days asking $1,695/mo.There are several apartment complexes with 1 bedroom and/or efficiency units for around $900/mo.

After researching options it appears things can get seriously complex with asset protection strategies.....

We have planned to start out with buying small multi's and moving up to larger complexes, but that's where things get tricky.

I've heard good things about South Kansas City with the Bannister Federal Complex revitalization, Cerner, and some recent commercial development.
