Hey @Cory O'Dell ,Impressive, this the first time I've ever heard of a buyer being allowed to buy with FHA loan and not actively live in the property due to military circumstances.Would you be able to get a VA loan later on if you start out with FHA on property #1 and then VA on property #2 1+ years later?

The house also has an attached in-law apartment and a 12'x12' stone cottage that we do plan to use for a bit of AirBNB and SRT house hacking.We are also starting to actively look for small flips and BRRRR's in South and Central Maine.

They are in the mid $100k and are about 10%-15% from 2007 in good neighborhoods.This isn't a bet on appreciation as they still cash flow but moreover future planning/selling.
