I would like to get ideas from fellow landlords on things that can be automated in the property management business so they can easily be taught to future employees.

The key to self management is to have a team of key people to call that you can rely on, especially a plumber/heating guy, and to automate rent collection and anything else you can.

Other than that, you should be able to automate the rest of it or leverage local resources for the most part. 

I am just curious ...do they have automated follow up systems in place (I know them as drip campaigns but don't know what others call them)?

I don't use co-hosts because there are tools that can easily automate the day-to-day operations of an STR. 

I’m leaving this here in case someone wants to adapt my version of the spreadsheet (supports multiple properties, one per row), as well as an automated, programmatic way of populating the spreadsheet given a paragonrels.com or fnimls.com link from an agent/broker.

They are looking for engineers to run and maintain their automated machinery.
