As a whole on the CA market, macro indicators could show a potential pull back, but in localized data, high end home sales continue to be moving at a steady clip.

You'll find that those seduced by the myth of progress and the chronological snobbery it breeds don't like Mike Ferry because his methods are insufficiently new.

It is a really good feeling to see the progress and note the changes.

I'm almost a little jealous of everyone on here talking about their creative finance deals and how fast they are growing, etc. and we're like the tortoise just plodding along, saving money and paying cash :)  Slow and steady, I guess!  

We just started demo today and made EXCELLENT progress.

Secondly, perhaps just as importantly, I think there is a definite advantage to taking the smaller cut of a pie when offered some rather than trying to get more than you were offered.This being the case, I can see myself taking the steady hourly wage over a split.

This is a slow and steady wins the race type of investing that has to cycle up.
