The applicant should always sign an authorization to release information that is blanket permission to contact anyone, from credit bureaus to landlords to employers.A lease is a credit agreement.

long term lease options can be deemed an installment sale.. not for IRS but for lender.although probably remote.I think its one thing if you own the property.. but its super risky for a seller if they think your leasing it only to find out your released it to somebody they don't know or like.. and or that person trash's the home.. and you walk from your original lease agreement..

My friend is in a pickle...he is co-owner of a small house and both are listed on the deed...the other owner is in ICU but in the meantime someone he met online who was in jail got released and has decided to move into the house while that person is in the hospital !
