It's no coincidence that my RE Agent, RRE Lawyer, Title Company Agent, Commercial Banker and Appraiser all know each other personally and work extremely well together.  

Do a search on the internet, there should be examples, but as noted you should not even consider it without a experienced lawyer.

I can't speak to rates for legal work other than it's probably cheaper than CA lawyers near you. 

Just pay a lawyer.  

For the owner financing talk to a title company or real estate lawyer to help you draw it up and getbit properly recorded.

You can probably voice it out to auction.com that their third party lawyer is not doing their job.

Should I find a real estate lawyer (if you know one please let me know) in Maryland and have them write up the contract and close the deal or can I just type up a basic contract and take it to a tittle company and have them start the process. any input would be greatly appreciate!!

Does anyone in the Kalamazoo, MI area have a lawyer that they would recommend?  

My long term goal is to buy and hold property to generate passive income and I thought becoming an agent might be a good way to further that goal for several reasons: 1) As an agent I'll have access to data from the MLS which will help me to learn my market, and potentially areas outside the city too. 2)  I'll likely make contacts with lawyers, CPAs, mortgage brokers and other professionals through my dealings. 3) I can write my own offers. 4) I need a career change anyways.That being said I have some reservations.
