So really depends on who is going to run the railroad that will be a key fact in getting your financing and or liability of the loans going forward for you and investors ..

Just reaching out for some feedback from people with more experience than I have in this area.  

We currently do manage several units to section 8 in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. 

Or else reduce enough on price to deal with an eviction from an illegal unit.I don't know Chicago laws, but in NYC if you have an illegal unit, the tenant occupying it seems to have more rights than the owner does and doesn't have to pay rent...

@Mark Thiel This is not legal advice but I think most LLCs are overrated unless you are required to have them for lending like with many DSCR loans.
