Hello BP community,I am about 11 hours away from letting my 1031 exchange fail after much back and forth. 

As rates hike up, a lot of investors are struggling to find a suitable replacement property for their 1031 exchange.

Hi,I am looking to do a 1031 exchange and am wondering what is the amount of the house I would have to buy to hit my reinvestment goal for the 1031 exchange.the current property: purchase price $515,000sell price :$660,000principle balance: $383,700

I also assume I can't sell a property that is subject to ordinary income (like something I've owned for four months) and then put the proceeds into a 1031 exchange, is that right?

Our model actually increases an exchanger's equity available to invest into the DST.  

@Adam Purden I would exchange but find a way to take on a little less debt.

1031 exchange does NOT allow flipping.
