To @Max Tanenbaum 's comment, I've looked into Black Bottom before but from what I understand, it is more of a historic neighborhood that's been converted into Student Housing areas in Ucity.

Within my tenant base I have a nurse, mechanic, IT professional, hotel manager, police, teacher, etc.

Hi my name is Spencer Doepel I am 19 and a Marketing Management student at Akron U where I currently live.

My big 66k federal student loan pile is at 5.75%, while my 10k student loan pile is half a 9.5% interest loan, and a 14.5% interest loan...both variable.

I have had conversations with the city planner and he hinted that if I am ready to designate it as BMR (below market rate) for folks who earn 80-90% of the median income of the city for folks like policy officers or teachers, I might have a chance at getting this approved. 

Because if you pull it, it is a hard hit and depending on their goals in life (college, need student loans, new baby on the way, anticipating needing a new car), then a hard hit impacts them for a long time. 

It seems like the natural progression of most things once you master something, you then become the teacher. 

So I have this older house, bought as a student rental for my own son and his buddy/roommates, all of whom have lots of electronic devices (computers, laptops, xBoxes, projectors, phone chargers, etc etc).  

Those place are mostly grad students (at least the spots we are in) and are not too much of a bother.  

I am a high school teacher with a husband and four children.
