I understand that the world of real estate is very much a people business, so I wanted to dive deeper into what kind of experiences people have had and what lessons they've learned, as opposed to the typical "get referrals" and "screen tenants" advice that typically gets spouted out.So, my question is more on the buying, selling, and negotiating side of things, and less about the tenants (since there are already many opinions about that out there).In regards to the people that you are generally going to be dealing with within your real estate investing circle, such as agents, lenders, contractors, handymen, managers, etc., what are some tips or advice do you guys have for working with so called "difficult" people?

Only 9 of the 100+ inquiring people actually filled out the pre-screening form and 5 of them were invited to view the property.We gave people the choice to fill out paper application and pay $35/adult for background screening or apply for free through Naborly.

If so, were permits pulled & were they installed by a professional5.Are any of the homes rented to students6.Is there a flat roof7.are there asbestos shingles The Year that the following were updated (either partially or fully) would be good to know:- Heating systems- Roof- Plumbing- electricalSome companies will not write properties with systems that have not been updated.....There are many endorsements that are available on the homeowners policy.

The time and effort you will spend managing, especially during the first few years when you're learning the ropes and all of your state's land lord/tenant laws and best rental practices (advertising, showing, screening, writing a lease, scheduling maintenance visits, etc.) would make your time more profitable to simply spend working at Wal-Mart as a greeter
