My short term goals include owning residential type properties (condos, SFRs, 2-4 plex) and gain enough experience to move into my long term goals which would be dealing with commercial type properties.I currently work for a sales and marketing company and have been since I graduated college.

My college years are almost, I will graduate with my finance degree and it's almost time to go Into the real world.

I am blessed with an kind and supportive wife, and we have a 17 month old daughter and a son on the way.I have had a love for real estate, design and construction since high school and paid my way through much of college running a residential painting/design company both in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

I am interested in buy and hold rentals, particularly in college towns and or college town sized cities.

I have some current rentals but they are what I would call low risk low short term return (college student houseing in good longterm hoods)with high appreciation potential.

I tried hard to get my first real job in Raleigh right after college.

I was driving that area last weekend after dropping my son back at college.

Educationally, I worked hard and paid my way through an in-state college, landed a few key internships, parlayed those to a nice nyc job, started a company and failed and lost lots of money but learned tons, parlayed that into an ivy league higher education and parlayed that to another nice nyc job - luck + hard work.

Students of course want to be close to the colleges and universities.
