Many will say that you have a great idea and that's the greatest thing for the world and environment....and I wont say its not but you do need to think about a return since cash flow and equity is a large part of why many people get into this business. 

In real estate, you can make money in numerous ways....without experiencing them first hand, you wont know where to dig in. 

Plus this crap, pun intended, happens in properties and wont ever stop.

they just wont get the urgency and their "boss" is not your wallet rather their bosses wallet. 

Am I just suffering from imposter syndrome? 

Unfortunately, the GM paid a bit more attention to the larger hotel and the smaller hotel's performance suffered as a result, so I think there is a significant upside potential with proper management.

If you are there more than 2 years, you probably wont have to pay taxes.

If he agrees , this will take a lot of pressure, and yes your cash flow wont be the best, but after it is paid off , it will be amazing in the long run. 

Protect your own best interest by decided what you want to pay and if they wont sell at that price just move on to the next deal. 

Obviously I wont enforce the increases at this point, but it does raise some interesting questions on notification, etc.
