Mainland contractors will charge more, locals are great but don't plan any work around the flounder run times.The vacation and resort market is and has always been strong b/c of its proximity to Houston.  

Some could argue that CT is not exactly exploding with job growth (this is correct), but there are some major players here for sure.. 

What comes to mind is retirement homes, or rehabilitation centers / resorts (I came up with this idea when I realise the price people pay for those back at home in Switzerland).

The POA has elected to institute a $5.00 per vehicle per, per night resort fee charged to nightly rental guests.

Hello everyone,We are thinking about buying a condo in Grand Palms condo resort in Kissimmee.

It also has large acreage attached to his house of 35 acres  It is located - short distance from a major ski area and the rental market is always in need of larger 3 bed 2 bath rentals for families that live/work at the resort. the ROI is over 30 %Seems  like the hard lenders will not loan to properties over 5 acres and in areas considered a rural area.Amy ideas or suggestions Thx 

There are always a couple of big players here that spend a few million on everything they can get their hands on.

@Derek LarsonI have been looking into short term rentals and have been trying to narrow the location to areas with water and ski resorts (to hopefully attract renters for the winter).

I don't mean a direct quid-pro-quo which could be considered a prohibited transaction but simply "being a player" in your market.I would also recommend finding out if you can designate your current contributions as ROTH contributions.

The schools are great in this area, lots of hospital jobs, military bases near, and navy federal credit union banking jobs.Pace high school is also a breeding ground for baseball players and the best school in this area of Florida.
