To me, this basically seems to point to a bunch of uncertainty and unknowns, which will create opportunity to those who know how to navigate through.

While I’m not excited about it, and like you said it might not pass a rigorous inspection (if you have one done, as only the appraisal is required.) don’t act surprised when the inspection lists the problem.

I would have been screwed if I took their advice.This event, in combination with some other annoyances from overly-technical software (like quickbooks having way too many bells and whistles, actually taking more time to learn the software/navigate through it than simply completing the task) compelled me to go old-school.
