Pat, that would be a red flag for a note investor.. although you could try it and list it on FCI exchange for instance and see what happens.

Hi All,I have been investing in Charleston, SC for about 4 years now and recently continue to wonder if its in my best interest to do a 1031 exchange on my first duplex purchased in 2014.

I'm just sitting here reading the verbiage of the exclusive contract, and it makes it seem like the one agent can be the only representative, however, when I called and asked her for clarification, she claims it's for only the properties we look at together, or the ones she is actively listing.Can I get some insight from an agent or buyer who has gone through a similar situation before?
