Rookie mistake on my part.All of the insurance companies denied me after reading the report since the 125 year old house isn’t all nice and updated and perfect.I quickly (re) learned that banks or insurance companies do not want to insure or sell fixer upper homes.

I spoke to both tenants and sent an email with photos identifying the cause of the cause damage, and as expected, the tenants on both sides denied the use of any such product.

Just make sure they check out in everything else (don't relax your criteria because they are offering a lot up front, if they have evictions, you should still deny them) and a reasonable explanation as to where they got the money.
