Luckily in my area the county law enforcement is dead serious about tagging and notifying people of meth homes In fact there's usually a tag on every door and window and they maintain a free access online database of any property ever found to be a meth property.

The questions are: Some basic details: Name, email, Mobile Phone, desired move in date, credit score (if they don't know it I ask them to check it and call me back), gross monthly income,...Then some more specific questions - their willingness to answer and how they respond helps me learn a lot about them as a renter.Do you have funds available to pay one month rent ($XXX), security deposit ($XXX), application fee ($XX per adult), and lease administration fee ($XX) (total: $XXX)? 

Oh and a cloud based database that interfaces with that system to automatically store paperless (and scanned) tenant records.
