I know people who rent easily short terms to students and nurses who come to do their internship in English. 

When we rent to NCSU foreign students, (17000 state wide in 2015), we can/could/did leverage homeland security as a resource.

We think we would like to stick to multi family units, and even possibly get into student rentals in the future (Ottawa is only an hour away)Would love to talk with fellow investors and landlords in the Ottawa Valley.

I've been a study of Dodd Frank since 2014 while being just a student at best getting a C often times a D in that class I can offer these comments:- What other parks are doing does not mean they know what is legal!!!

It is possible to have more than 2 lenders participate on a loan, both in first lien position.  

And as @Joaquin Kurz stated, have each student have a parent cosign for them.

These programs are generally pretty good and worth using while you're an early investor.I would recommend doing your homework on their programs and then contacting a participating lender to discuss further.

I have responded individually to some of you, but to the group my main goal is to pay down my student debt and eventually have the financial freedom to invest in real estate full time.
