I will be doing some renovations in order for this property to be move in ready (repainting and replacing all flooring).

as you were - what I meant was VA loans are for primary residences/properties in “move-in ready” condition, with very few exceptions.

Greetings all,I recently graduated (in my 20s) and moved into the area for work.

It seems fairly difficult to get into something there but I may reach out in the future @AJ Wong if we decide to move forward.I don't live in the area so it wouldn't be a hosted rental situation @John Mason but it's good to know about that option. 

As the title states I am soon to be leaving active duty with the Marine Corps after 8 years and will be moving back the the great state of Wisconsin, Green Bay to be specific.

I still have the same tenants that originally moved in when I bought the property and fixed it up.
