In my county, you can search any judgements on the property via the Prothonotary's website and search mortgages/liens on the Recorder of Deeds website through a software system that you can download for free.Both systems make you pay for any pages of the documents that you want to print/download.

While I wouldn’t necessarily expect money to keep rolling in consistently if something goes wrong with the business, I would have the ability to get a judgement and recoup my losses over time.So because of this I don’t do too much vetting of the individual’s situation.
