I have met with them and driven by their house to see what it looks like on the outside, look at what their car looks like inside (if they don't keep it clean, chances are they don't keep the house clean) etc.  

You will have a couple with a fairly high income and when they move in you see nice cars, a nice boat and a Harley that are worth more than a down payment.

If your why is bigger than your need for latte's, vacations and fancy cars, you will save money!

I tried to take my car up it, and it wouldn't make it (no it's not a 4x4, and I live in Arkansas).  

That's the value part.For instance, I'm looking at buying another car.

Home is for rent; the person was driving by, stopped by the side of the road and took a photo out of their car and posted it to our group.  

I traded my new car for a down payment on a house.

Anyway, our one duplex actually has a 4 car garage (2 2-car garages for each unit) and it also has an additional narrow garage along the back that goes the length of the building (approx. 12x45-ish... didn't measure, could be slightly bigger). 

Rental Income helps pay college... increase over time, real estate appreciation....Life /Financial Situation:- Kids set to go to college in 2 years and 7 years ( => sponsor 8 year of university)- Outside home equity I have 401(k), Emergency Fund to cover 1 year of expenses, and 529 to cover 1 year of college, and a tiny play brokerage account, paid up cars no loans.- Risk averse- Want to semi -retire early and use obamacare efficiently and some non stress job income to sail from 55 to 65.

I hope you never have to buy a car.
