The best advice I have received on a emotional support animal is to make your tenant go to petscreening.com to validate the real need for the animal.They have to get a licensed Dr or therapist to submit documentation for them to review.I just had someone apply to one of my houses and they gave me one of those internet certifications.

Although so far we've only rented to travel medical professionals (lots of physical therapists for some reason), we've had inquiries from people relocating to our area needing housing, a divorcee, someone in town for a family member's extended medical treatments, forest service seasonal workers and people doing 6-month sabbaticals at a local bible college.
