Peter Lohmann’s newsletter is a solid source for staying on top of national trends; I’d recommend subscribing if you haven’t already.In Texas, I’ve noticed increased activity, especially in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

(You say it’s worth about $100k more than you’re paying so figure an extra $15k.)Maybe you’d be better off partnering with the parents unless they have zero interest?

It seems like a lot, but it’s well worth it to be able to move a deal quickly.

Worth it still as now I don't have gas bills to contend with for heat which I would say was around $1k a year.

We want a high paying job immediately when we graduate...and, the cost is so high, without getting that instant financial reward upon graduation, it's not worth the cost.Going to school is extremely important. 

We will shop for used appliances where we can when we need one… or pick up used cabinets if we can, or search eBay for something smaller,  but going to the extreme of personally shipping something big in internationally for one-off renovation needs seems like a stretch of reasonable.Just like you mention, the number of unknowns would not seem to be worth it to me.Just my 2 cents.Randy  

🚀 Real estate can be a challenge, but the rewards are absolutely worth it.

I considered suing for non-performance but felt the hassle of doing so would not be worth the benefit.I'm still hopeful and looking in the Flint market, I just would not use them to do so.

Also something to note, I live in the North Fort Worth area and be aware that there is some school district drama brewing in Keller ISD that covers much of 76244 and 76248.
