They should be able to give you this proof.You still may have a claim against the broker as they were responsible for the security deposit and rental funds up to the date of sponsorship termination.

Are you limited by dates like a 1031 ?  

I had a similar issue as a buyer's agent and I had to go back and forth with the builder multiple times and even back up the closing date because there were a few items to take care of, have your agent represent you on that. 

And it's not just about the communication, it's about changing the move In date and being able to pay.

Instead of what happens today where sellers are told they can close on a "DATE OF THEIR CHOOSING" that phrase right out of Wholesale Trainers handbook.

Under SB 567, the notice to terminate tenancy must include a description of the work to be completed, copies of required permits, the date the owner expects to complete the work or demolish the building, and notification that if the substantial remodel or demolition is not commenced or completed, the tenant must be offered the opportunity to re-rent the unit at the same rent and lease terms as when the tenant left.

Some of the headaches in this process:1) Duplex wasn't ready for inspection, even though Listing Agent had set the date. 

It should have a specific start date and end date.
