About the only solution I had, while I waited for the promised city connect was regular (every 3 weeks or so) pumping of the septic tank and a jerry rigged grey water system for things like laundry.While this was a costly nightmare on the positive side I learned the value of city relationships.   

Make sure to completely vet all showings social media, copy of birth certificate, drivers license, passport, blood sample, medical records, geneology report.Then be sure to record all conversations, make a journal of your thoughts and impressions of every interaction, be sure to have multiple go-pro cameras on your person, like attached to a helmet or body rig.

If Houston’ long-term growth slows, it won’t be due to any impact associated with Hurricane Harvey.Also noteworthy IMHO, the # of rigs operating in NA is twice what it was a year a go, Oil and Gas coming back

And as far as the quotes it’s like any other contractor go with a reputable one don’t get a guy to rig them as they are an expensive job and you’ll want them installed right.

Before we started supplying W/Ds you should have seen some of the dumb installations I saw done by tenants - supply hoses jerry rigged with duct tape, drain lines not hooked up, dryer vents crushed flat, dryers miswired, etc.

I know that many want to believe that the system is rigged against us.
