As far as the legality of sober living homes they have a good bit of protection at the federal level from local government discrimination since people in recovery from addiction are a protected class, however some cities and counties have occupancy laws and certain codes that conflict with the sober home model and oftentimes the neighbors are not keen on having one next to them.

I guess that means, there is healthy demand for rents in the metroplex.I am curious if there is a city or few Zip codes within Tulsa, Broken arrow, Bixby, Jenks and Owasso, that is preferred by prospective tenants ?

There might be demand, but oversupply in certain areas, like Orlando, is pushing prices so low that it becomes impossible for some property owners to break even, let alone turn a profit.Agents promoting STRs as "good investments" without considering the current market saturation, high operating costs, and potential competition do a disservice to buyers.
