I have an international high end luxury home & condo background.I was an Adjunct Professor in Florida's University System.

The only problem with renting to students and working there is if you say were their professor or someone that could influence them for free rent or other special treatment.

The most ever combined family W2 earned income before taxes I have ever earned teaching at a parochial school and as an adjunct professor working approximately 60 hours a week is my current $80,000, including my wife and her $20,000 as a special Ed aide working 20 hours a week.After first investing in a little rental property in spring of 2011, now have by my birthday 109 front doors, 6 million in total RE and 2.5 million in net worth.  

I also work as an adjunct college professor teaching business management courses.

      An economics Professor I had at the University of Nevada still keeps in touch with his former students.

I mean, would this mean that you discriminate against computer programmers, software engineers, adjunct professors that teach online classes, etc?

Then even 60 days gets you to March and you have much less of a problem even if you can't go beyond that.I might think of checking with Santa Clara and other colleges and hospitals in the area to see if they have professors or doctors moving on the semester or summer.
