I’m originally from Portland Oregon and loved how each season had an outdoor activity.

Am I able to deduct purchases of furniture that I made last year for this year? 

The site has a stream and we are building community food gardens irrigated with drainage water for the 5 plex, plus shared outdoor spaces.

The revenue for this would be seasonal because it would be an outdoor wedding venue. 

We'd prefer to do that so we could put more into paint, furniture, appliance upgrades, etc.

I purchased a 1 BR 900sqft condo in 2021 with a depreciable tax basis of ~$275k and spent most of 2021 and first half of 2022 renovating the property (new appliances, flooring, painting, furniture, bathroom renovation, new kitchen countertops, new electric heaters, insulation, fireplace/pellet stove).

There are also a lot of outdoor activities, shows, and other city amenities.

The company envisions expanding its asset tracking system to include furniture in rented properties introducing a phase of responsibility and transparency.

I’m budgeting about $1,500 per room, so $8,000-$8,500 to include the LR, DR, kitchen, and outdoor space.

The good news is they still capture that we're waterfront, have a pool and outdoor bar in the image, but it's not my ideal choice.
